Inertia
She stood in the fading sunlight
The leaves murmured, the birds hopped,
The marshy land washed her smell
The passing wind blew away her tail.
She stood in the fading sunlight
Awaken by her thoughts now and then
She stole a glance,
Driven to a land of fantasy
She made her stance.
She stood in the fading sunlight
She questioned her existence
The vulnerability in her arose,
All her dreams seemed to be fading away,
Even in her subconscious doze
She stood in the fading sunlight
Shaken by the plopping sounds
She held her aside,
His enlivened frame drew to her near
In the pale and vague shadow of her fear.
She stood in the fading sunlight
Stolen in his arms, deep in his breath ,She sighed;
Her broken arm hung to its place,
He took it with utmost care
As she smiled a bit less.
She stood in the fading sunlight.
His eyeless eyes looked into hers, her mind yearned for saying,
"I am nearly finished"
But her soul ,still dreaming looked longingly at the canvas,
They smiled ,as the dusk fell upon the Magnus.
They grasped the brush and painted together
As purity of the soul is the greatest treasure.
She stood in the fading sunlight...
