The outcome of No Such Thing, a Goethe supported Residency for theatre directors, held in May 2017 in Bengaluru, and mentored by Lutz Hubner (Germany) and Mike Kenny (UK), saw five new plays by five exciting and powerful voices writing for young people- Swati Simha, Nisha Abdulla, Kavya Srinivasan, Shridevi Mahadevan and Ram Ganesh Kamatham. The plays address a broads swathe of troubling and sometimes neglected issues.

The evening in Delhi will showcase selected scenes from each play, interspersed with conversations about theatre for young audience (TYA) and the role of new writing. All five plays will be presented in Dramatised Readings later this year in Bengaluru
